Messy Masterpiece Blog
First, an unfortunate health diagnosis. Then, a new life. Three years ago a doctor told me in order to fix my health, I needed to start a Paleo diet.
At first, I struggled to find foods I enjoyed. Then, over the course of the next couple months, I found myself enjoying many foods I hadn’t before. Occasionally, even craved them!
My husband and two kids started to eat healthier too. I started noticing an improvement in their ADHD symptoms, eczema, and asthma. This spurred me on to craft even more healthy recipes my kids would enjoy.
Living a Paleo lifestyle inspired me to lead a “back to basics” way of life. In addition to clean eating, my passions include food allergy advocacy, natural products, and homesteading.

About the Blog
First, and foremost, Messy Masterpiece was created as a form of advocacy and a resource for others struggling with food related conditions. Health conditions resulting from diet, including allergic reactions, are on the rise.
As a result, more and more people are recognizing the need to eat the hunter gatherer diet our bodies were created for. Messy Masterpiece aims to make it a little easier to fight against the current modern lifestyle. We achieve this by:
Creating Paleo modified recipes that taste just as good as the originals
Collaborating with other blogs to create the best collection of recipes for the reader
Share our favorite tried and trusted product brands
Bring awareness to food allergies
Invite readers along as we begin the process of homesteading
Embrace the “back to basic” life which allows me to focus on health and what really matters
Messy Masterpiece would be nothing without my favorite brands. We are so grateful that there are others out there who are committed to making quality, healthy food. Click on the logos to be redirected to the company websites for more information.
